Pet Photography

For the personalities that make a house feel like home. Pets rarely sit perfectly, look at the camera on command or behave quite how we expect them to, and that's exactly the point. These sessions are built around your animal rather than a pose list. We'll walk, explore, play, stop for treats and let things unfold naturally while I photograph the expressions, habits and little interactions that make them unmistakably them. Sessions can take place at home, in woodland, along the coast or somewhere your companion already loves. You're welcome, and encouraged to be in the photographs too. The result is a collection of honest, character-filled images of the animals who aren't simply pets, but part of your story.

My Approach

FOR THE LOVE OF... PAWS

PERFECTLY BEHAVED? ABSOLUTELY NOT REQUIRED.

Your pet doesn’t need perfect recall, a flawless sit or the patience of a saint. They can run, sniff, get distracted, refuse to look at the camera and generally do their own thing. That’s kind of the point.

My sessions are relaxed and unhurried, giving your pet time to settle in and simply be themselves.

I’ll work around their personality rather than expecting them to perform, capturing the little expressions, quirks and moments that make them unmistakably them.

No modelling experience required. Treats, chaos and questionable attention spans are very welcome.

What to expect

01 - Conversation

This is where it starts.

You may already know exactly what you want, or you may simply know that you want to remember this part of your life properly; the walks, the connection, and all the little things that make your dog them.

We’ll talk about their personality, your relationship and what you’d love to capture. You don’t need to arrive with a plan; this is simply about getting to know you both and understanding what matters.

02 - Planning

From there, we shape the session together.

I’ll help with location, timing, what to wear and what to bring, always considering what will work best for your dog. That might mean an open field to run through, a windswept beach, quiet woodland, or somewhere already meaningful to you.

You’ll know what to expect before the day arrives, without planning every moment of it.

03 - The Session

There’s no rush, and no expectation for perfect behaviour.

We give your dog time to explore, settle in and get used to me and the camera. From there, we walk, play and let things unfold naturally.

Sometimes I’ll offer a little direction; other times I’ll step back completely. The aim isn't to manufacture perfect moments, but to create the space for real ones to happen.

Treats, distractions and questionable attention spans are very welcome.

04 - Your Gallery

After your session, I’ll carefully select and edit the strongest photographs from our time together, bringing the collection together with natural colour, considered tones and a consistent editorial finish.

You’ll then receive your private online gallery, where you can take your time looking through the finished collection and choose the photographs included in your package. If there are a few too many favourites, you’ll also have the option to purchase additional images.

Your chosen photographs are ready to download in high resolution, share and print, with professional prints and products also available directly through your gallery.

Not just a record of how they looked.

A reminder of what life with them felt like.

Every session is a little different, because every story is. From our first conversation to your finished gallery, I’ll guide you through the process while leaving plenty of room for things to unfold naturally.
