This is where it starts.

You might already have a clear vision, a folder full of inspiration and know exactly what you want to create; or you might simply know that you’d quite like some photographs of yourself that you actually love.

We’ll talk about you, your style, what you’re drawn to and how you’d like the photographs to feel. There’s no expectation to arrive with a concept or know what will work in front of the camera.

This is simply about getting to know you and figuring out what we want to create together.

From there, we shape the session together.

We’ll explore location, styling, outfits and the overall feel of the photographs. You might have a specific concept you want to bring to life, or we can build something together from a few ideas, references or simply the kind of imagery you’re drawn to.

I’ll help work out what will photograph well while making sure the session still feels like you, rather than forcing you into a style that doesn’t.

By the time the day arrives, we’ll have a direction, without planning away the possibility of creating something unexpected.

When the day arrives, you don’t need to know what to do.

We’ll take our time and ease into things. I’ll guide you through posing, movement and where to look when it’s useful, so you’re never left wondering what on earth to do with your hands.

As you settle in, there’s room to experiment; trying different ideas, changing things up and following whatever feels interesting in the moment. Some photographs might be carefully considered; others might happen completely by accident.

You don’t need to perform for the camera. Just give yourself permission to play.

After your session, I’ll carefully select and edit the strongest photographs we created, bringing the collection together with natural colour, considered tones and a consistent editorial finish.

You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can take your time looking through the finished collection and choose the photographs included in your package, with the option to purchase additional favourites if there are simply too many to leave behind.

Your chosen photographs will be ready to download in high resolution, share and print, with professional prints and products also available directly through your gallery.
